The next stage of your journey.
Haberdashers’ Adams offers a co-educational Sixth Form in Shropshire with dedicated facilities and experienced staff committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for students whilst preparing them for the next stage of their educational journey. You will have a distinct Sixth Form uniform and a dedicated Sixth Form centre with a lecture theatre, seminar rooms and a bistro. You will benefit from close pastoral guidance in tutorial groups and enjoy the independence and flexibility of life in your Sixth Form Centre. You will form close friendships, develop excellent working relationships
with your teachers and fully involve yourself in many aspects of school life. This will generate enjoyment, fun and a sense of belonging that will make you proud of your school. Essentially, we aim to prepare you for the next stage of your journey and, in doing so, enable you to enjoy your time in a number of ways. Our aspiration is that you love to be at the school yet cannot wait to leave! There is an expectation that you will take much greater ownership of your own learning, along with a hope that you will embrace the House system and soon develop a sense of identity and belonging.

Leadership & Responsibilities
Your studies will be an important part of your life in the Sixth Form but so too will all the other activities that offer excellent opportunities for you to get involved, to contribute and to develop confidence and leadership.
Destinations
The vast majority of our Upper Sixth pupils continue their studies at university including on average 8 to Oxbridge and on average 13 into medicine/veterinary courses however, we also strongly encourage pupils to consider the wide range of alternatives available such as degree apprenticeships and direct employment. Please find a list of the universities that our Summer 2023 leavers are now attending and the courses they are studying.
A Level Prep
To help Year 11 pupils joining Adams in the Lower Sixth, we are pleased to provide material that you can access over the summer holidays. Working through the material will help ensure you are fully prepared and up to speed when A-level teaching starts in September.
