Congratulations to our RAF cadets who took part in the West Region Air Squadron Trophy at RAF Cosford over the weekend.

The competition consists of seven disciplines which have to be completed either as a whole team, a ‘sub’ team or individually. The disciplines are Drill & Inspection, First Aid, Command Task, Shooting, Aircraft Recognition, RAF knowledge, and Fitness.

Competing against 11 other schools Adams’ performed superbly, under the excellent instruction of newly promoted Cadet Warrant Officer Karl Francis. They finished equal 2nd with Loughborough Grammar School, only two points behind the overall winners Hereford Cathedral School and have qualified for the National Finals at RAF Halton in March. Special mention to the Air Recognition Team who won the trophy for that discipline, with Corporal Oscar Johnstone particularly impressive with a perfect score of 30.
